Housing
Students are housed in double rooms, each with an en suite bathroom and kitchenette, including a microwave, sink, and mini-fridge. Program staff live in the building and security is on-duty 24 hours per day. A shared kitchen and dining area as well as student lounge and courtyard create a unique student community.
Williamsburg
In 21st century New York, art and commerce has flowed east to Brooklyn, making it one of the most dynamic places to live and work. Williamsburg, Brooklyn, is a neighborhood just across the East River from Manhattan, which, for the past two decades, has evolved into a kind of sibling city. The scale of Williamsburg is closer to Greenwich Village, with public access to the waterfront and bustling street life open for business by mostly independent shops, restaurants, and cultural venues. The view from Domino Park, which encompasses a sweep of the New York skyline—from the Brooklyn Bridge to the United Nations—never fails to inspire.
In two square miles you can try dozens of international cuisines, including some of the best pizza in pizza-obsessed New York. Close by are 70 acres of open park space: McCarren (opened in 1909), Domino (2016), Marsha P. Johnson (2020), and soon, Bushwick Inlet Park (2024). There are three public pools for swimming, indoors and out. An abundance of cultural venues, cinemas, music halls, art galleries, and performance spaces are ready for students to explore. All of this attracts the best and the brightest of our young people, engaging and commingling with other bright stars who will shape our future.
