The summer internship program offers hands-on professional experience in the student’s field of choice, while industry-specific programs invite students to tap into New York City’s vast professional landscape through job shadowing and networking opportunities across the city.

  • BGIA Certificate in International Affairs

    BGIA Certificate in International Affairs
    The Bard Globalization and International Affairs (BGIA) Certificate program provides a unique opportunity for college students and recent college graduates to take specialized courses in international affairs while working in carefully selected internships based on individual interests. Upon completion of the program, students are awarded a certificate in international affairs, recognized by New York State.

  • Bard MA in Global Studies
    Bard MA in Global Studies
    This 1-year MA in Global Studies (MAGS) Program prepares students to address the 21st century’s most pressing global problems. ​​Students complete 30 credits over two academic semesters, including interdisciplinary coursework on the form and function of the global political order, skill-based courses that prepare students to enter the workforce, as well as a professional internship and capstone project related to global affairs.
